The term "forensics" is sometimes used broadly to refer to any activities at the intersection of behavioral health and the legal system.  The four groups outlined in the "DBHS ASH Forensic Legal Status" document generally include those clients referenced as "forensic patients".  Somtimes the term might also be extended to include "jail holds" at ASH.
